The 100 square inches grill surface in combination with the non stick surface will give you more than enough room to grill anything you like.
Our Rating: 4.1
- Removable plates
- Digital timer
- Adjustable temperature
- 1.5 inch floating hinge
- Dishwasher safe
- sloped for grease drip
- 1440 Watts
Our opinion about the George Foreman GRP99
With an average 65% of the ratings being four and five stars this is not the top rated grill from George Foreman.
The removable grill plates with a total grill surface of 100 sq inches come of very easy for cleaning, but someone mentioned it did not stay attached to good.
The cord is a little short so this can limit where you can place it on your counter top.
Few complaints that this unit does not get as hot as the older version.
Seems that the complaints are mostly about the temperature and the overall quality of the grill.

George Foreman GRP4
(Click Here To Seee The Price)
With 72 Square inches this George Foreman grp4 grill is a little smaller but it still fits 5 servings according to the manual. I read however that it does not fit 5 “normal” sized burgers, but only smaller ones. Does fit two normal size pork chops.
The 1000 Watts is high enough to heat this grill up and the removable plates are a big plus. No messing with a temperature setting is according to the users a nice feature. Just turn it on and cook.
The cord is a little short again, 12 inches, and this seems to be on a lot of the George foreman indoor grills.
Our Rating: 4.4
- Removable plates
- 1000 Watts
- Dishwasher safe
- Non-stick surface
Our opinion about the George Foreman GRP4
About one out of every 20 people mention that the grill does not get to hot and all others mention that it gets real hot. Guess this depends on what you use it for.
The grill surface is not that big with its 72 square inches so it is not recommended for larger families but in my opinion for a 2 person household this will work great.
the easy to clean feature was mentioned a lot as being great. Storage was also no problem since it is basically a pretty small grill.

George Foreman GR144 indoor grill
(Click Here To Seee The Price)
Like the model number already gives away this grill is 144 square inches and that makes it more usable for larger families than the GRP4 above. Only thing is that this one does not have the removable grill plates although there are not a lot of complaints about cleaning them. There are people who changed to the fixed plates because according to them it heats up and holds the heat better.
Our Rating: 4.4
- 144 sq inches
- Non stick coating
- Stay cook handle
- Floating hinges
- No on-off switch
Our opinion about the George Foreman GR14
This indoor electric grill is a little larger and holds about 5 normal sized burgers with no problem.
Clean up is best done with a paper towel right after you used it and it is still hot.
After that it is easy to clean all the way with a wet cloths or one of the sponges that are recommended to use on all the George Foreman grill. (scroll down to see them at the bottom of this page). With about 85% of the users giving this grill a four or five star rating we can probably call this a good buy. We can maybe call this a George Foreman family sized grill.
There is no on-off switch like most models. Jut plug it in and wait till it warms up and use it.

George foreman GGR50B
(Click Here To Seee The Price)
Reason we put this indoor/outdoor grill in our George Foreman top five is that so many people like this grill.
You can easily use it outside on the 2 1/2 feet pedestal or just take it of an put it on your counter-top.
240 square inches of cooking space is a pretty size grill and will eat up some of your kitchen counter top space however.
A nice feature is the adjustable temperature controller. With grilling you need this option and can not rely on one temperature like in the smaller grills. The 1600 Watts heating element gives it enough power.
Our Rating: 4.6
- 6 feet cord
- 1600 Watts
- In and outdoor use
- Sloped for grease drainage
- Removable stand
- Integrated drip tray
Our opinion about the George Foreman GGR50B indoor/outdoor grill
The option to use this grill indoor and outdoor is a great feature just remember that this is a grill and not a small countertop grill to make fast hamburger or grilled cheese sanwich. I would only use this for a larger crowd since it can hold a lot of meat.
There is a very low number of people who did not like this grill. Most of them complaint about the grill not getting hot enough. My opinion is that you have to let it warm up very well before putting any meat on it. It is 1600 Watts but it still is not as hot as propane or charcoal.
Can be use outside if you are not allowed to have a gas or charcoal grill like in many apartment buildings.
Grill cover that fits is the Char Broil Caddie grill cover.

George Foreman GRP472P
(Click Here To Seee The Price)
72 square inches makes this GRP472P again to one of the smaller sized indoor electric grills. The removable dishwasher safe grill plates are easy to clean. The premium ceramic coating is a very big plus over the other non-stick surfaces because it it ptfe and pfoa free.
The ready indicator light makes it easy to see when the grill is ready for use after pre-heating.
Our Rating: 4.6
- Removable plates
- Ceramic plate surface
- Indicator light
- Dishwasher safe
- 24 inch cord
Our opinion about the George Foreman GRP472P
What I like most is the new ceramic plates. There is a lot of news about the older non-stick in relation to health.
The description say it is a 5 serving grill, but this is not true. With a 72 square inch surface that is impossible.
Maybe 2 large burgers or pork chops. So if you buy this for a larger family I can not recommend this grill.
For a smaller (2 people) family this size is great and will not use up a lot of space or storage.
Like most grill of George foreman it does not have an on-off switch and you have to unplug it from the outlet.
Cleaning seems to be very easy with the ceramic plates and some people wrote that it was even easier than with the non-stick plates.
This grill gets a lot of recommendation for grilling vegetables. All together this could be the top rated George Foreman grill.
