Effective grilling space is 14.5 x 10.5 inches. This is a total of almost 160 square inches.
the temperature can go up to 450 degrees. Hot enough to seat a steak.
Cleaning
If you take out the temperature control you can put the rest in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Just don’t forget to remove the drip tray first..
I also read that it is very easy to clean by hand.

Grill surface and temperature
The dimensions of the grill surface is 15 x 9 inches for each half of the grill plates. This makes the total space when used open to 260 square inch. Enough to grill for 4 people. Used as a contact grill 130 square inches and still large enough for some nice sandwiches or grilling burgers.
The temperature can reach about 400 degrees like most other indoor grills.
Cleaning
The two grill plates can be removed pretty easy and are dishwasher safe. Cleaning by hand was mentioned also as not being to hard. This leaves the choice up to you. I have read that sometimes the dishwasher can damage a non-stick surface with the detergent and the force of the water.

The surface that you can use on this indoor grill is about 15 x 9.5 inches and that makes aboout 140 square inches of grilling space. Enough for some nice burgers or steaks.
The temperature settings are warm, low, med, high and sear and range from 195 ot 450 degrees Fahrenheit. This is high enough to sear a steak and low enough to keep something warm while you are cooking or prepping some other food.
Cleaning
Just like the other two Delonghi indoor grills above this one is also dishwasher safe and I read that it is also not too hard to clean by hand. The socket where you attach the control unit has to be dry before using it again. I found one person that did not do that and the circuit breaker tripped.

Delonghi is a well known brand in many kitchen appliances and even other products. They are known for the quality of their products and easy to use features.
All the Delonghi indoor grills we looked at have good ratings and will last for many years if you take car of them.
We could not find to many bad reviews and opinions about them. Some complaints were about not really seeing grill marks, but this might have to do with the fact that some people do not pre heat the grill long enough.
The controller looks at the temperature in the heating element and it takes a few cycles to heat up the grill plates.
